I’ve just returned from a three-week vacation in the Philippines. I expected heavy downpour for at least 4 days a week there but to no avail, the rainmakers above canceled those showers and instead let the sun shine in. It was like summer time in Cavite during that 21-day holiday.

I can still remember about 10-15 years ago that when rainy season starts you better wear your raincoat before you go outside because it’s either raining or the rain’s about to fall. But now all you can see is a small blanket of dark clouds and a brief drizzle. That’s it. The weather’s weird.

Is this the climate change that the nerds in a talk show in TV are talking about?
